I love flying, but I was super tired by the time I got here. Even though the entire flight over the pacific was in the dark, I didn't manage to sleep much. The exchange in Sydney was aweful, lol, I had to answer yes to almost every quarantine question, had dried fruit (fruit), had dried meat (animal parts), had tea (plant material), had a boat (freshwater equipment) and had been near freshwater mud in the last 60 days.

After consulting with the quarantine persons, they let everything but the jerky into the country. Then I had to pick up my luggage and recheck it all within an hour to get on the flight over to Perth.

That flight was quite luxurious though, they fed us twice, best food I had on a plane, and we had individual entertainment centers. Too bad that wasn't the 14 hour plus flight, lol.
